Life

I was listening to Prince's Purple Rain and I wondered since when did rain have color? Then I remembered Prince Is dancing on clouds to the sound of the thunder, hear that rumble. Vivid in a place where my prayers go until the sky turns grey. A rainbow appeared and it was clear that it was indigo blue. What if I only had 30 minutes left, like the reciting of this writing would determine my life or death. Right or left handed, my intelligence is measured by society's standards, And when I stand up I feel hand cuffed telling me my rights are not right the wings apart of life so ultimately my life is owned by the fright.... police lights flashes, mental lashes. Yes im a slave, yes im an addict of the dream on my TV screen. Oh the ads, how I wanna reach n grab, breath n gasp. Started from the bottom? No we started from the top, we were kings and queens. Before fiends for rocks, hopping around off scotch and pimples were the only things that were being popped.
