Life

Life like a confused waiter, Messes up your order. Tosses you left and right, Like a lost infant with no mama. You stretch out your tongue, Longing for a drop of water, Instead he gives you a jar of vinegar. He serves us in moments, At your table today, on to the next tomorrow. He has no favorite customer. Like an amateur organist, He plays haphazardly. Reeling with laughter as we struggle to keep up with the rhythm and dance to the tune. But then aren't we all at his mercy?
