Life

My mind is racing. Thoughts are scattered. Thumping feet keep their fast pace, but no eyes meet mine. The odor of burning nicotine is overwhelming. I wanna scream out, but my lips are numb. They cannot form any words. What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger, right? Wrong. I've been here too many times and I still see no vivid muscles indentations. Forcing my body into deep sleep seems easier. The thick tears are clouding my hands, Still I manage to complete the task. The curve of the blade sinks perfectly into my fresh skin. Suddenly I hear no more thumps or smell no more nicotine. I'm free from life.
