Life

I was useless, I could do nothing but watch

And hope that what I was doing was enough.

You probably moved on but a part of me died,

A part of me stayed and will never come back.

I keep going back and yet I want nothing

But to feel the way that I once did.

I know I changed drastically,

And I have no way of knowing

Whether or not i woke me up

Or destroyed me and the person I once was.

Ignorance is bliss

And if I really wanted to I could push it all back,

Keep it where I keep my undesired wants and dreams.

Untouched and never to be seen again,

No one can corrupt what is no longer there.

It was a mistake.
