Life.
I want to be older
and run my own life.
No one telling me what to do
and what not to do.
But I also want to be younger.
I want to have fun without people
thinking I'm a weirdo.
Or dance like no one is watching
when everyone is
and they think you are adorable
because you are three years old.
Kids want to be adults
and adults want to be kids.
Why can't it be both ways?
Kids can act like adults
and adults
can act
like kids.
And why do people do thigs
to innocent adults
and children?
Like 9/11
or Sandy Hook
or the Chardon school shooting
or the Boston Marathon?
Can't the world live in peace?
It is so hard to understand.
But there are happy times, too.
Like your birthday,
or scoring a goal in soccer.
Remember the first time
you rode your bike
without anyone holding on?
Imagine a world
where kids can act like adults
and adults can act like kids.
They can be younger, which everyone wants.
But we also want to be older.
Imagine a world where goodbye
only meant
until
tomorrow.
And where there are no wars or hate crimes.
Imagine a world where dreams come true.
I want to be older
and run my own life.
But I also want to be younger.
