Life

Am I a victim to this life I live?

Or maybe it's pay back for what I did in my past life

Where is this road you've been telling us to follow?

My heart continues to remain hollow

You said you got a goal for all of us

But what was the goals to those kids in poverty homes

From generations of killing each other

The sky's the limit but I don't think they were thrown a bone

I cherish you, I worship you

But sometimes I don't understand why

Why you make my dad be a crip and barely be in my life

Why you make my mom come from the worst and still be my biggest fan

Why you make me this unique kid

I'm 18 now

My ignorance still remains bliss

My innocence quickly shurikens

You helped me when no one else could

If i'm going the wrong way forgive me for being misunderstood

I don't fully know you for you but i'm gonna continue to learn

I come out my pool of pity

To start a new legacy

Legacy my family's going to yearn

I went through every emotion

Every...Single...One

It's not a lap it's a marathon

I may be last but i'm speeding up

Whisper my accomplishments

Yell my failures

Sit back and watch all their dominoes fall

I know you been listen to my prayers

I won't be at the bottom for so long
