Life

Dear life,

I don’t know the places you’ll take me.
I know of the places you have took me so far.
I’m scared for everything in life.
I’m grateful for everything that happened.

All the twist and turns.
All the up and downs.
I always find a way to get back on my feet again.
I always find the me that was lost in the moment.

The path is a beautiful rose roadway and I can feel the sun on my skin.
The thorns hurt me as I pick it up but I admire the beauty regardless.
Beauty is pain. Beauty is learning. Beauty is being you. Life is beauty.

Life, I know you are known for being unfair but I still see the good and I still see the hope.
I see all the things you have to offer to me whether they’re good or bad and I’ll seize the opportunity to take it away from you.

I’ll be selfish and take advantage of it. I’ll learn what I did wrong later on and become regretful.
I’ll know when to say no when things get too far. I’ll know how to handle things since I’ve done so much wrong.

Life, thank you so much for everything you have gave me so far and everything you will give me later. I wish I could do more for you.

- Forever yours
