life

the calls from down below

buried away so no one would know.

the spirits begging to be let free,

when will you allow me  to be me.

poetry bestows me hope,

to go on the through the ages without having to deluge.

difficulties fixed, life better,

it don't matter what the weather.

when you transcribe you acknowledge who you are.

knowing, when you depart you will be a star.

glancing upon the air of the late night waiting hoping you don't have to flay.

however, when the pen is down and the words are composed you smile.

you grasp it is only temporary, although for  you its astonishing

pondering on all the the hearts you've touched your core grows buoyant knowing they will

smile for a while
