Life is better

than anything that's best

It gives us chances every day

Never lets us get away

It nourishes us, helps us through the good and bad

It makes us laugh when we're happy

And cry when we're sad

It strengthens us by giving us little glimpses

Of what we can become

By gaining mentors and doing good things

We must cherish life every day

Doing what's best for us and going the right way

To find the key to happiness

Is what life wants to say
