A Life

My eyes are uncovered after hours of darkness I feel a rhythm inside that energizes my body from head to toe That energy powers up the generator behind my eyes to give me thoughts Those thoughts remind me to take a deep breathe that inflates my lungs Those thoughts are given to me and my lungs is full of air because my memory I am now awake I am now alive I am given a gift The gift of being alive after my eyes are uncovered after hours of darkness.
