Life

I write to live, I write to escape, a reality so fake and to go to a time unknown

I write to see, I write to breathe, I write to live, I write to breath

The forces unseen swirl continuously around my head shutting me down and snuffing me out

I write to yell

I write to cry out for help I write to be heard

I write because without words there is no life

Without life there is no hope

 Without hope there is nothing

My thoughts so mangled and jumbled and desperate i cry out to be seen

Poetry is more than word; it is expression

It is who I am it is what I do

It gives me hope in a time of sadness

It brings me light and a reason for gladness

I live to write and I write to live

My life is not my own, this world is not my home

I write to share my pain, my joy, my gain

Nothing is lost

Nothing is without hope

Things seem bad but writing lets me know

How can words so beautiful and full of heart

How can words so beautiful not be art

There is more to this life

To this world that we do not know

That the words of others can give us hope

I write because I love so much

I write really, just to stay in touch

Writing has taught me how to breathe

It has taught me how to see

It has taught me how to live

It has taught me how to be free

This life I live is not my own

I was born to write
