Life In 28 Lines


We arrive Crying,

Then Crawling,

And Giggling,

Then Talking,

And Walking,

Then Learning,

And Playing,

Then dancing,

And Growing,

Then Arguing,

Then forgiving,

And Loving,

And Graduating,

Then Moving,

And Loving,

Then Marrying,

And Growing,

Then Parenting,

And caring,

Then Teaching,

And Providing,

Then Watching,

And Releasing,

Then Remembering,

Then forgetting,

Then Crying,

And Leaving,

Then…No longer living.
