Life #3

I'm tired of putting up pretty walls between me and everyone else.
What's the point of wanting to be true ,if I try glueing back my mask every time it melts?
Instead of being driven by emotion, I need to calm down and ease on the brakes.

Cause all this commotion is tearing up the seams, eating away at the surface of my soul, while raising unnecessary stakes.

And tears and sweat roll down my face, feels like I'm often crying, but knowing that you always got me, I can't help but keep smiling.
So just in the same way God's been watching over me, if you ever need a hand, you can always count on me.
