LIFE
Monsters hidden in the Garden of Youth.
They purge and kill off the innocence,
The ones still hanging on that thin strip of thread.
Woven by the Creator,
Then cut by the Tempter.
The Corruptor.
The Sinner.
Monsters thriving in the City of Passion.
They sway and dance the Tango of Depression,
And let the others watch and learn from them.
Brainwashing them into becoming,
Freaks.
Drunks.
And Druggies.
Oozing with a longing or desire.
Those who do not feel,
Who do not love?
They are broken down,
Put back together with the misplaced pieces of a puzzle,
Then destroyed once more.
A process that will go on forever in time.
Forever Repeated.
A constant Etcetera.
Monsters living on the corner of Sadist St.
Next to Beezlebub Blvd.
Across from Antagonist Ave.
Their houses built on the foundation of Fight or Flight.
Backyard shindigs full of Wannabee's and Not Their Yet's
This is what I must deal with,
What your sons and daughters will too.
This is the Loud and Adrenaline Junkied Game
Called LIFE.
