Life

Life is but a dream,

 Full of inconsistent realities,

We walk down the streets,

Completely unaware,

The world around us is falling,

Full of pain and sorrow,

We st rive to survive,

Shaken and broken,

Trying to battle it on our own,

Our sense of pride has us bound,

Choking us from our freedom,

But there is hope,

In the midst of darkness there is light,

In a battle where all hope is lost ,

Victory is won,

Through death there is new life,

Just as Jesus died for us he set us free,

To break these chains,

Weary and broken,

Lost and now we are found,

Free from the burdens,

Through mercy and grace,

Falling on our knees,

We let go surrendering all,

We are embraced,

We are loved,

Inconsistent realities become reality,

We become aware,

The dreams become real,

Fullness of life consumes us,

We no longer strive to survive,

But see the beauty,

And live each day through grace,

Life is but a mystery,

A mystery full of wonders.
