Life

What trail is there but the one of failure, for that is all I see.

I try so Hard to walk without fault, but all I do is fall.

This trail is rough and short, but seems oh so long.

Was there a time when I did have a choice, but did I listen?

Was there a straight and smooth trail, that no one has taken?

I'm so weak, me heart says don't go on, but my soul says walk.

This all just seems pointless, for there is no reason for me to be here.

I look at a sign, maybe it will tell me what to do.

But all I see is one word, the name of the trail.
