Life

Life is nothing My life is empty Beaten every waken day Life is gone My life was taken away Pulled away from my family Life is a hassle My life is tough Struggling to stay alive To stay alive I must work Be bossed around To stay alive I must take the punishment For being weak and hurt Being weak Not something I planned They made me this way No food No water No life This life is not my own This life is not fair This life is not a life

I know, the Holocaust is a really strange topic to be writing a poem about, but it was written when we were learning about the Holocaust during my English and History class. It is written in the point of view of a Jewish Child.
