Life
(poems go here) Life..
Holds such a divine concept.
A concept in which a mislead society couldnt handle
A concept that my generation doesnt want to see.
Who are we as a people to say we can believe in change.
And stay the same
Through days of rain
Such insane
Or should i say such insanity
We know change but never embrace it
We see struggle but never face it
We took success and renamed it
Gave it a unwritten name
With unwritten principles
We gave life a new concept and design
In which our generation doesn't see
Who do we strive to be.?
Just Blind to the fact that jails are being built
For people like you and me
Its like we urge to be in jail cells
We push for the success that fails
Trading school books and preppy looks
For mary jane and scales.
We'll do anything just to make those crack rock sells
A society blind of the opportunities we have
Wasting limited time
This society screams for a relief
A silent cry
Some say this generation will die.
But what they dont know is that we are already dead..
But we will never see.
Its just a matter of time before we wake up and smell the coffee.
And understand that its the power of we
That will get us to where.we want to be.
We are like a gold fish at sea
When will some one else step up and have a vision like me.
We have to open our eyes. Live. Love. Laugh. And most of all be free.
because we dont see
As a black society
How powerful we can be
