Life

Is it all just a waste of time?

To keep us occupied until we hear the church bell chime.

Is it all just a hurricane?

That leads to nothing but pain.

Is it all for the pain?

That makes everyday’s forecast nothing but thunder and rain.

Is it all for the story?

To tell the children all the days that ended in glory.

Is it all just a movie?

That people watch to capture all of its beauty.

Is it all just a living picture?

That captures the journey making life just a little bit richer.

Is it all for the smiles?

The ones that continue to last for miles and miles.

Or is it all just a game?

The very thing that puts our world to shame.
