Life

Life's most precious gift is itself

For the wealth of life far surpasses any type of physical fallback

It overrides the most powerful rulers

and it stands strong when the wind pushes and pulls at its seams

It may seem ife is hard

It's like the diamond in the rock

And from what I've learned in Science class, the diamond's only enemy is itself

For nothing else can mar the edges of a rock with potential

And by potentioal I mean a substancial amount of knowledge, wisdom

Yeah, life is smart

It can see beyond the clouds and take advantage of the stars

It wasn't given any special abilities

Yet it has defied the forces of gravity

And yeah, life is beautiful

It can paint a picture blending colors together like the patterns of it's DNA

It can hear a broken heart as easily as it can see a man crying out to the moon

And yeah, life can be broken too,

Two as in two individuals

One a man who's every action consists of holding this woman in his grasp

Competing for live with the advantage of fear

The screams the neighbors hear are not screams of pleasure wrapped in bed sheets

But screams of immeasurable pain wrapped in blood sheets

Blood seeps from every wound inflicted but life continues to stay

And so the cycle continues.

He needs her

He feeds her

He beats her

He relieves her

He leaves her

He needs her

He feeds her

He beats her

He relieves her

He leaves her

Until life is no more.

But the aspects of life that will continue to soar above the highest scyscraper

Are faith, love, and resilience.

So when we think that life's neen knocked down we watch it crawl on hands and knees until it can stand again.

When we see the blood trickle down life's temples from a suckerpunch we watch it double jab back. Life can only end by the almighty's will.

And until then life remains inconquerable.
