Life's Wild Walk

Life is a journey everyone must take.

We all start and end at birth and death

But we take our own time,

Following different paths.

Occasionally, I’ll see a site ahead.

Once, I thought I saw the end.

I looked over the cliff,

Before realizing there was another path.

That end may come back in sight soon,

If only for a moment,

As I decide to turn around,

Rather than continue off the edge.

Maybe there will be another hiker,

Ready to lend me a hand.

But most of the time,

I have to find my path alone.

There are no maps available,

Nor guided tours,

Just an exploration,

Through the wild.
