Life

We run outside, time to play.

It starts to rain, well, that's okay.

We try to catch drops, in our mouths.

Whew, we say, that cooled us down.

While running about, the sun comes out, and that just made our day.

We're sixteen now, feeling depressed.

Hopeless, upset, like all the rest.

Exercise, mom says, so you go outside.

It starts to rain, why, why, why?

But then you see, "he's looking at me!", and you talk and talk all day.

We're a-dults now, happy to be together.

Everything happens for a reason, does it not?

He spins me around, sweeps me off my feet.

It's like the day I realized he's the one, all the time.

He is, the one.

Life is amazing, because at the end, you realize that everything

that happened, was to make you happy and aware in the future,

and everyone gets what they deserve.
