LIFE

Life Life can be many things Life could be that homeless man standing on the exit ramp of I-95 with a cardboard sign and a hitch-hiker thumb raised high; Life could be the old grandfather fighting to live another day in the ICU at Shands Hospital; Life can be that little girl down the street who has to constantly hear the screams of her mother in the room across the hall from the brutal beating from her "Uncle Greg" Life, it could be all those things; all those untold stories; all those overlooked lives; all those ignored cries But Life could also be that I-95 homeless hitch-hiker getting picked up by a very humble yet rich fellow who helps the homeless man get back on his feet; Life could also be that grandfather in Shands Hospital who makes a miraculous recovery; Life could also be the little girl down the street confiding in her teacher about her mother's abuse and "Uncle Greg" never being heard from again once taken away in a police car. So you see Life isn't just the good or just the bad, its a never ending cycle that combines them both Life may knock you down but in most cases it always come back around to help you back up All we have to do is except the help And maybe one day we could be someone's 'humble yet rich fellow' or someone's 'teacher' who takes action We could make a difference in someone else's situation in Life
