Life and Lyrics

Life and Lyrics make a perfect melody of abstract thoughts and words      blended together in harmony to hit hard like a snare drum  clap clap     once or twice      bow down to the sweetest thing     like ice to tea     bitter sweet     you've been blinded with greed     to the point you don't see me clap clap      we rise and fall from the east  like tidal waves to a sea shore    exploring my destiny with fragile steps like broken glass to a window pain      you don't see me cause you've been cracked with life pains     couldn't visualize your prophecy      so you yell my name       didn't realize its was within me to rise and be the queen     god meant for me to be  clap clap    I know you hear my heart beat      watch me travel the seven seas      rising to the top    being the queen I'm meant to be     all while keeping the faith on the west side of Cornell clap clap     you don't understand when I say I'm parallel     I feel like I'm double parked the way you watching me     must I say I'm colder then Icyss sitting on top of a iceberg in Iceland      all a while you been praying a while     but you not messing with this golden child   Now you wonder why I say I don't understand why my pen don't roll over the pad so easy      you couldn't visualize the greatest with a third eye      now I understand why you don't see me      and hear me the way Stevie hears the t.v. clap clap           the way my mind maps the way is amazing     still u wanna play me      you'll be better off playing hide and seek with a rattle snake     these aren't the breaks like the facts of life      where everything at stake      politicians lying and education declining     our children are suffering while we are buffering our way through      To afraid to change and rearranging this path we've been givin   whether you are black, white, red, yellow, or brown we all must stand our ground       clap clap   Life and LYrics
