Ecclesiastes 3:11 

¹¹ God has made everything fit beautifully in its appropriate time,
but he has also placed ignorance in the human heart
so that people cannot discover what God has ordained,
from the beginning to the end of their lives.

Life seems linked from now to moments

Cause and effect walk hand in hand

All seems fair when things go well

but going wrong who’ll understand?

Hunger starts searching for explanation

The voice of flesh screams “It’s not fair”

Look at others who are not trying

Where is justice? Is it up there?

Accept, accept faith is saying

When health and home fall apart

This is a moment just in passing

just to form and try your heart

Why the trying? The heart is crying

Why just me? I tried so hard

Maybe it is not you, who is tested

after all you’re not that smart

Like a stone hit calm waters

The ripples travel far beyond

Maybe what you’re experiencing

is an answer to prayer from long ago

When you said “Lord I’ll give all”

for my loved ones to be saved

And for my friends, who don’t know you

to find the Truth, the Life, the Way
