Life and Split Personalities

Meaning.

Fills life and keeps it away from despair,

And darkness that constantly fills the damp air.

Sometimes the meanings infront of your face,

And sometimes the meaning will be found in an unknown place.

Meaning is anything that drives us forward,

And depression lies where we have no drive toward

Any goal or passion as well as to survive.

If all hope is lost there is one revive,

To write down poems can be a big drive.

From hopeless to hopeful and depair to being able to thrive.

I had done thinking about life and its meaning,

Only to find that the meaning was demeaning.

I needed to find something to pull me up,

And poetry baited me like a bone to a hungry pup.

I had written and written as much as I could,

About love and compassion like nobody would.

Soon I found multiple positive ways,

To keep moving forward toward life's maze.

Poetry gave meaning that nothing else would,

And meaning gives life like nothing else could.
