The life of another black man
Mad because you have to wear the same clothes and the same shoes,
Cuz your mother lives pay check to pay and doesn't have any money
Constantly getting smacked down by someone that calls her honey ,
He says he is your dad but never got a hug never felt any love
just a push and a shove
And you cry and cry on those lonely nights not knowing if and when
everything is gonna be alright.
Wishing you had your mom to hold you tight but shes afraid
to come out into the light
So you run and run to the block,
Forgot about the love your mom did give wishing
you will live a good life and maybe have a wife,
But now her son is dead he got shot by the FEDS
and all i can do is sit back and watch it on the channel five NWS and say
DAMN THERE GOES THE LIFE OF ANOTHER BLACK MAN!!!!!
