Life of Art

The world was first just black and white A checkerboard without its pieces Then God snapped His fingers And created a Earth painted with crayola life Each one their own shade on the palette of life Used by the paintbrush of all reality They leave their mark on the canvas they live And on the silhouettes that they come into contact with We are all quills as we write our own stories With God as our ink Sometimes we revise and add lines To the scripts that surround Leaving our signature for someone to share Life our clean sheet of paper ends as we run out of lines And sign our love letter good-bye with a Sincerely or Yours Truly As another painting is drawn and a new letter begins
