Life is Better When You’re Sad

To wish to be numb is simply neglecting to acknowledge your humanity

Ignorance is a bliss until you fail to experience such a chaotic beauty

There’s living

And there’s existing, I’m sure you’ve heard this time after time

And I’m sure you undermine the meaning of such a cliche line

But it’s true

Some of us run from routine, others embrace it

Regardless of where we stand life is unpredictable

Something we just can’t outwit

What is the point if you don’t experience

Anger, Happiness, Jealousy, Sadness...

things that make who we are as a species

All of which could also bring us madness

That’s the uniqueness of it all, isn’t it?

No ones the same, no personality is one size fits all

Knowledge is power, use it to your advantage

Come out of the shadows, shit scrape your knee

And don’t use a bandage

Just live, you’re doing it right if at the end there isn’t anything left to give
