Life Is Like A Book

Life is like a book.

Everyone has a beginning

and everyone has an end.

It's up to you to take a look,

to see what's inside

Each book and each life starts with a hook.

Nothing printed can be erased.

You can not read ahead

with out ruining the end.

You can re-read the memories

but you can't live them again

The pages may fade,

but the words still remain.

The author may die,

but the book will leave a legacy.

Life is like a book.

You spend the whole time

trying to get to the end,

that you miss what is most valuable,

everything in between.

Everything that makes it such a wonderful read.
