Life on the Broken Path
Life is imaginary.
Never really knowing what to expect,
Never actually seeing what you get.
It's all just a mind game, really.
You want to believe something is the way it is,
Simply for the reason that it is to be how you've pictured.
Unfortunately, you have been mistaken,
Life is more than just a path in which you can decide the outcome.
Life is real; detrementing us everyday,
Causing pain, and sucking the soul from which we were built around.
There are too many people within the Earth's makeup,
It's easy to forget about their significance.
There are those that are dying; people are crying and
You're worried about the way you're hair looks today.
Take a step back,
Listen to the sound of your own voice,
And run; run like hell away from all you've ever known
It's the only way you will ever find peace.
For the exhiliration of life isn't
Basking within the gold of your own glory;
It's leaving it all behind.
