Life can be okay
Life is a highway, though some say a road.
You run it, you walk it, you set it on coast.
There's hills and there's turns,
there's valleys and twists;
there's even a place to pull over and scream at the sky with your fists!
Some days it rains, other days it shines,
sometimes it's dreary and depressing inside.
It's never the same, not even every day;
there's all kinds of obstacles to get in your way.
But you musn't lose heart; oh please do not give up!
You can make it on through, and that you can trust!
With a friend or a sister, a father or pal,
You can get through it, someway, somehow!
