Life is a Challenge

Growing up in the “hood”,

Not having a parent graduate college,

Nor being able to afford to do activities.

High school came and changed my life.

Focusing on school and making my own money

Is what kept me going.

Being confident is what keeps me motivated.

Being motivated is what keeps me working hard.

Working hard is what keeps me focused.

Staying focused is what keeps my dreams visible.

Life is a challenge,

But the challenge is what keeps me grounded.
