A life of denial

Matthew 6:34

34 So then, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Today has enough trouble of its own.

A life of denial

It is not mine to see ... what this day will bring

Somehow it is a mystery that will unfold itself

At times it seems we have ... a vague premonition

of things that happen undefined ... beyond one’s self

If I could see the future ... I would die indeed

for the pains and sorrows I could not bear

The sadness of existence ... confusing many lives

shielding tomorrow from its own atmosphere

A life of denial would roam in all directions

blindfolded reaching out ... to find a way to truth

Demeaning all the trials ... in search of perfection

always bleaching out reality’s changing mood
