Life is a Dream
Life is but a dream
The clouds evaporate in moments
The sun fades with no lasting beam
Death takes those you love
How do you know if it ever was?
Is it a dream?
What actually leaves applause?
The moon darkens each night
The wrist cut will heal
Leaving no impression
Nothing to feel
What will last in the end?
A fleeting second
Life will pass
No footprint to be beckoned
For remembrance
If it was real or just a dream
