Life of An Eagle Scout - Free Verse

You don't know how much is expected of you

Until you go for your Eagle Scout rank

>Be me, 17, kid with not much on his plate

>Realize it's March and have no idea what your project will be

>Start freaking out, looking for ideas

>Find one, kudos to Assistant Scout Master 

>Get it approved 2 months before application is due

>Realize there's a lot to do in 2 months

>October comes, finish project

>Mfw I get the application in the day it's due

>Mfw I go to my final board of review and ace it

See? It's a long battle to the top of the pile

And somehow, I fit in playing with my Robotics team in there too

I didn't know how hard life would be

Until this project was done

Now I'm rambling on

But it feels good
