A Life Full of Inspiration

We speed walk through each day without a blink of an eye.

What if we stopped to breath in the crisp cool air?

Or stop to watch a bird nurtre its young?

What if we stopped?

I stopped when my heart relaxed and my eyes fluttered open.

Why did I stop?

I was inspired and felt it rattle me deep in my bones.

That inspiration consumed me like a fire consumes a fireplace on a cold crisp night.

How did I become inspired?

I was inspired by the words that flowed from a person's mouth.

That person was full of hope, love, and forgiveness.

I was inspired by her knowledge.

I was inspired by her smile.

I was even inspired by her long stories that lasted a decade but still made me smile.

I never met a person that was so positive and caring in my life.

She showed me love and compassion.

She showed me strengh and bravery.

Even after leaving her presence I could still feel her words weigh on my heart.

She inspired me to be strong during difficult times.

She inspired me to be open to others about how I felt.

She inspired me to be caring and helpful.

She inspired me to be me in the mists of strangers.

She inspired me to go after my dreams.

I learned that life is full of inspiration.

Inspiration may come from a person, a place, or a thing.

The only way to find that inspiration we long for is by opening our hearts and minds to the possiblity.
