Life is like a game of Chess

Life, life is like a game of chess, you never know what to expect next, nor do you ever know what move to make, for each decision made often comes with a consequence, a risk that is never accounted for when under pressure. And like a game of chess, we are always fighting between light and dark pieces of our soul, always waiting being too impatient to make that bold move, always calculating different options for the best results, always sacrificing the little things for something bigger. Because what we fear most is not only about losing the game, it’s also about losing what is precious to us, what we find joy in, what our dreams have created. But that, that too is simply part of the game of life.
