Life Games

Patiently Waiting

Praying for safety

And that life isn’t too bad

To make you go crazy

Insane in the brain

With thoughts of unspeakable things

Just flowing like a river

The platter of life is gold

But may start off a silver

As the moments may slither

Like snakes they grow bigger

In the midst of trying to

Get a hold of times

That soon become memories

You fall on your face

The pain changes the grace, of your walk,

The direction of your path It takes the strength you once had

And runs away fast

Points and laughs

Taunts you as you try to catch up

Because with every two steps

You get knocked back twelve

Years pass by

And you still question yourself

What’s understood doesn’t have to be explained

But what about when

You can’t comprehend right away

How long will you stay,

In the state of confusion

Until you finally get up and

Learn to keep it moving
