Life Gets In The Way
I had my life planned out.
Planned from the age of 10.
Of course...
It didn't work out the way I had planned.
Life gets in the way.
I was living a happy life.
I had everything I wanted.
My siblings,
My parents,
My dog.
Everything was going great.
Then life happened.
Life.
Everything started to fall apart
Piece by piece,
Piece by piece.
We're here,
He's there.
Miles and miles apart.
Life.
I was brainwashed.
Brainwashed into thinking
My father was a horrible man,
My mother was an angel.
Little did I know-
It was the opposite.
Life.
Eventually, life changed again.
Back home,
Family together.
Everything is great, life is back together.
But then...
Life happened.
Spread apart once again.
Mom.
Sister.
Brother.
Me.
All together.
Dad is alone.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse,
LIFE.
Slowly, slowly,
Siblings went to college,
Siblings moved out.
I was alone.
Things got worse.
No food.
No water.
No warmth.
No love.
But then...
Life.
Life became something positive.
I got out, I really got out.
Enter: foster care.
Enter: love.
Enter: warmth.
Enter: food and water.
Enter: a family.
A newfound
Life.
A life full of happiness.
A life full of love.
A life away from... life.
