Life goes on

As the morning comes upon us,
life goes on for us here.
I hear the waves crashing against the shores
as if it knows the feelings I carry inside!
No sense in asking why
a year has gone by,
The answer remains the same.
Life goes on!

I am a woman who loves to help people my career as a drug and alcohol counselor allows me to do that. My recent loss of my grand daughter has prompted me to write poems which has helped me somewhat in the grieving process and I hope it will help others when they read them.
