A Life in Haikus; Flawless yet Damaged

Stillness, emptiness

Shielded from the world outside,

Then I am released.

--------------------------------------------------

Childhood passes,

A lifetime forged so briefly,

Who I am, molded.

--------------------------------------------------

People, places, things,

All shaping what I believe,

What am I really?

--------------------------------------------------

Horrors, tragedies,

Indescribable anguish.

Yet I have survived.

--------------------------------------------------

Now that I am grown,

I'm thankful for the journey.

The moments made me.

--------------------------------------------------

Flawless as I am,

the same way everyone is,

Human: scarred beauty.
