Life Happens

Walking along the street The trees that reached the sky were a skyscraper Wind is whispering through the trees Path is disappearing No where left to go. Keep on walking though Head down Thinking Nothing is clear Vision blurry Crying a river like the Nile Feeling like crap Been told many things Everything will be fine Sometimes I wonder though Parents fight Brother acting out The disease Friends leave College What is going to happen? Looking down I see my necklace What does it mean? Piece of heart somewhere else Still thinking Everything flashing by One common thought Sometimes you don’t have control Over what is happening Life just happens.
