Life is hard when you're scarred

I came here to forget

But all I got was more regret

Nothing will ever be the same

I am the one to blame

Blood is dripping on the floor

Behind this locked door

No one can hear me scream

I hope this is all but a dream

Sadly this is my life

Sitting her holding the knife

I look in the mirror at my reflection

All I can see is rejection

Tossed aside like trash

My life slowly began to crash

This is not who I want to be

I just want to be free

     Free of this mess

     Rid of all the stress

All I would like to do is change

But for me that is something strange

     We are who we are

But why do I seem so far

     Far off in the distance

     What even is my existence?

     You’re perfect they said

Then why do my insides feel so dead?

     They do not understand

     None of this was planned

If I told them I would be shunned

     Leaving them all stunned

     Life is just so hard

     Especially when you’re scarred
