The Life of a High School

It is 6:30 in the morning and I am barely out of bed

7:00 o'clock and I am sitting on my desk

Trying to stay awake with the shades on my head

30 minutes of preparation and I still look like a mess

As the teacher calls out for due assignments

My senses spark to life

Getting up in line and trying to turn in mine

Students look like zombies as I gaze around the room

I think to myself, this is what you call a dead line
