Life of the hunt

I bring my head up and close my eyes to feeling everything

The darkness becomes calming and I absorb all the energy coming into contact with my skin

I inhale the peaceful air with its scent of want and greed being poured from other souls

None of those souls may have felt this determination that runs through my veins bringing me life

Slowly my eyes open with the look of a gentle doe running through my sight

I bring my head back to reality all prepared

The decend of my head brought all thoughts to a stop except one

the determination of getting to my goal

My eyes stare as the goddess, Artemis, would with the hunt

Smiling knowing that the goal is right in front of me

And I'm ready to pounce for it
