The Life I had

                         The Life I Had

All this love

All this hate

I cannot seem to break away

I cannot go

Through the pain

Cause all the weight has pushed me down

I have tried

To live the life

In all I do and all I say

The memories

Have taken me

To a place that’s safe and sound

The life I had

Was the better one for me

I wanna go back

To the way it used to be

Everything I’ve ever loved

Fades away to the sky above

I wanna go back

To the life I had before

Every time

I close my eyes

It will only start to hurt

All the lies

I thought they died

But they all just kill me

Slowly

Slowly

They kill me

Slowly

Can someone save me

Chorus

It’s out of reach

Taken away

One million miles away

They have died

To the other side

Can I have just more day

With all the times that brought me joy

Instead of a lifetime filled with noise

I can’t say goodbye

Chorus
