Life As I Know It

    Life as I know it is really nothing but awesome 

We live each day how we desire

    And we each, as humans, learn to grow and blossom

As we watch others and silently admire

    Being with friends and enjoying long, adventurous nights

Whilst appreciating one anothers' presence

    Doing as we please underneath the beautiful city lights

On a cool winter morning in its own essence

    Feeling the crisp breeze pierce my skin

Helping others in any way is a blessing

    And being accepting with a welcoming grin

There's always a reason to be grateful and just sing

    Life can be hard and I may ask myself, "Why?"

Through it all I wouldn't change a single thing

    For the wonderful life I live, even times when I cry
