The Life I Live

I twitch when I write,

I stutter when I talk,

Yet I’m not afraid to walk the walk.

I’ve smiled and laughed,

Then cried and crashed,

Yet here I still stand.

I’ve failed and passed,

Got through it all some not as fast,

Yet I am stronger now thanks to my past.

I’ve been at the lost of lows,

And the highest of highs,

Yet through it all my eyes are still on the prize.

I know I still have a long way to go,

And each day has a different struggle,

Yet I know there is no life I’d want to live,

Then the one that I call my own.
