Life as it is

Life, as it is, is life everlasting,

everyone plays by different rules

But life, as it is, is life just passing,

certain moments can seem like jewels,

but life, as it is, is tough, it's hard,

so now let us think of it as playing a card,

strategy, numbers, all in the same,

they all play factors in this frivolous game,

Choosing wisely, we follow the rules,

yet we, as humans, act as fools,

By looking away, we grow distant,

and by that our stubbornness remains persistent,

So life, as it is, is all in good fun,

and again, we will see with the rising of the sun,

but rising and setting, the days go by,

"because I love you" he exudes in a sigh,

but those words as they are, are exuding a lie,

how do we separate what is meant to be said,

from what we know, just comes from the head,

words such as these should be brought from the heart,

bringing in joy, and love, never feeling apart.
